About Mia Raunik Support Services
Mia Raunik Support Services offers NDIS and non-NDIS mental health and disability support through a neuroaffirming, queer-affirming, trauma-informed, and lived experience-led approach.
Support is designed around the reality that people’s capacity, communication needs, and access needs can change. Mia works collaboratively with each person rather than expecting them to fit a set way of engaging with services. This includes recognising the impact of masking, burnout, flare-ups, system fatigue, and previous experiences of being dismissed or harmed within care systems.
Services include NDIS Support Coordination and Psychosocial Recovery Coaching, Case Management and Psychosocial Counselling, Neurodivergent Lived Experience Mentoring, peer support groups and workshops, and professional support and consulting. Depending on the service, support might involve navigating the NDIS and other complex systems, coordinating services, strengthening support networks, exploring challenges and coping strategies, or working towards goals that reflect the person’s own values and priorities.
Mia brings lived and living experience as an AuDHD and queer practitioner to her work. Her approach centres on informed consent, autonomy, collaborative decision-making, and believing people’s experiences without requiring them to repeatedly explain or prove what they’ve been through. People can choose how involved they want to be in communication and handovers with other providers, including asking Mia to take on more of that work when they need to save spoons.
Mia also provides professional development, mentoring, and lived experience-led consulting for early-career professionals and organisations, with a focus on trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, intersectional, and person-centred practice.

What others have shared
"For anyone navigating services for themselves or clients, you know how hard it is to find people who are genuinely skilled, effective, and pour their whole heart into everything they do. And actually finding someone who actually gets it? That's a unicorn. Well....not anymore!”
