About May Psychology

May Psychology offers warm, inclusive psychology services centred on your lived experience, individual needs, and goals. Grace May is a registered psychologist who takes a collaborative approach to therapy, with a focus on helping you feel safe, connected, and involved in decisions about your care.

Grace works with children and adults in individual therapy and also provides couples therapy. She has experience supporting people with trauma, including PTSD and complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism, and a range of developmental, disability-related, and mental health presentations.

Her practice is neuroaffirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, sex-worker friendly, disability inclusive, trauma-informed, and Health at Every Size (HAES)-aligned and weight-neutral. Grace has a particular interest in working with LGBTQIA+ clients, including people exploring concerns related to gender and sexuality.

Grace is trained in Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), which offers a different approach to traditional talk therapy and can be used to address trauma and distressing life experiences. She is also trained in the Gottman Method of couples therapy and works collaboratively with couples to explore underlying concerns and work towards their shared relationship goals.

Grace holds a Master of Professional Psychology Practice, Master of Professional Psychology, and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours). She is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPi).

May Psychology offers in-person appointments in Clifton Hill, Melbourne, as well as telehealth.
