About Daring Communicators

Daring Communicators is a neurodivergent- and disability-led speech pathology practice supporting meaningful speech, language, communication, and cognitive skill development.

Support is individualised, neuroaffirming, trauma-informed, and evidence-based. The team works with people who communicate in different ways, including through speech, written words, gestures, learned or prepared scripts, AAC, and other forms of communication.

Daring Communicators support communication, literacy, language and development, learning, social connection, play and imagination, executive functioning, regulation, and sensory needs. Services may include assessment, therapy, advocacy, education, and practical community-based support.

Appointments aren’t limited to the clinic. Support can take place in the Clayfield clinic, at home, at school, online, or in the community, depending on what works best for the client. Daring Communicators also works with educators, and other professionals to support communication across different environments and activities.

Areas of interest and expertise include ADHD, anxiety, acquired brain injury, apraxia, autism, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, dyslexia, global developmental delay, intellectual disabilities, PDA, and Ehlers-Danlos syndrome.

Daring Communicators supports early childhood, children, young adults, adults, families, and parents/carers.
