About The Spoonie Dietitian

The Spoonie Dietitian is an online dietetics practice run by Emma, a dietitian and spoonie with lived experience of endometriosis and POTS.

Emma supports young adults and adults living with chronic and invisible illness, with particular areas of interest in endometriosis and POTS/dysautonomia. Her approach combines nutrition care with an understanding of the exhaustion, overwhelm, and restrictive advice that can come with managing chronic illness.

Rather than adding more food rules or expecting nutrition to take over your life, support focuses on understanding your body, managing energy and symptoms, and finding an approach to food that fits your actual capacity.

The practice is trauma-informed, neuroaffirming, LGBTQIA+ affirming, HAES-aligned and weight-neutral, culturally safe, and chronic illness aware. Nutrition consults and longer-term coaching options are available.
